Petition To God

"Dear children! My invitation that you live the messages which I am giving you is a daily one, specially, little children, because I want to draw you closer to the Heart of Jesus.  Therefore, little children, I am inviting you today to the prayer of consecration to Jesus, my dear Son, so that each of you may be His.  And then I am inviting you to the consecration of my Immaculate Heart. I want you to consecrate yourselves as parents, as families and as parishioners so that all belong to God through my heart.  Therefore, little children, pray that you comprehend the greatness of this message which I am giving you. I do not want anything for myself, rather all for the salvation of your soul. Satan is strong and therefore, you, little children, by constant prayer, press tightly against my motherly heart. Thank you for having responded to my call." (October 25, 1988)


Consecration to Jesus (Dictated to Jelena)
O Jesus, we know that you are sweet
that you have given your heart for us,
It was crowned with thorns by our sins;
We know that today you still pray for us
so that we will not be lost.  
Jesus, remember us if we fall into sin.
Through  your most sacred heart, make us all love one another.
Cause hatred to disappear among men.  
Show us Your love,
all of us love You,
and we desire that You protect us with Your Heart of a good shepherd.
Enter into each heart Jesus.
Knock on the door of our hearts.  
Be patient and tenacious with us.  
We are still locked up in ourselves because we have not understood Your will.
Knock continuously O Jesus, make our hearts open up to you,
At least when we remember the passion which You suffered for us.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, overflowing with goodness,
Show us Your love for us.  
May the flame of Your heart, O Mary, descend upon all peoples.  
We love you immensely.  
Impress in our hearts a true love, may our hearts yearn for you.
O Mary, sweet and humble of heart, remember us when we sin.  
You know that we men are sinners.
Through Your sacred and maternal heart cure us from every spiritual illness.
Make us capable of looking, at the beauty of Your maternal heart and that thus
We may be converted by the flame of Your heart.

Prayer for a Sick Person  (Dictated to Jelena) Back to Top
(Three times recite the Glory Be followed by this prayer)
O my God,
Behold this sick person before You.
He has come to ask You what he wishes and
what he considers as the most important thing for him.
You, O my God, make these words enter into his heart:
“What is important, is the health of his soul.”
Lord, may Your will in everything take place in his regard,
If You want him to be cured, let health be given to him;
But if Your will is something else, let him continue to bear his Cross.
I also pray to You for us, who interceded for him;
Purify our hearts, to make us worthy to convey Your holy Mercy.
Protect him and relieve his pain. That Your holy will be done in him,
That Your holy name be revealed through him.
Help him to bear his Cross with courage.

Important messages for the sick from Our Lady in Medjugorje:

“For the cure of the sick, it is important to say the following prayers:  the Creed, and seven times each, The Lord’s Prayer, the Hail Mary, and the Glory Be, and to fast on bread and water.  It is good to impose one’s hands on the sick and to pray.  It is good to anoint the sick with Holy Oil.  All priests do not have the gift of healing.  In order to receive this gift, the priest must pray with perseverance and believe firmly.” (July 25, 1982)

“When you are sick, when you suffer from something, don’t say, ‘Oh, why has this happened to me and not to somebody else.’  No, say instead: ‘Lord, I thank you for the gift you are giving me.’  For the sufferings are really great gifts from God.  They are sources of great graces for you and for others.  When you are sick, many of you only pray and repeat, ‘Heal me, heal me.’ No, dear children, this is not correct because your hearts are not open; you shut your hearts through your sickness.  You cannot be open to the will of God nor to the graces He wants to give you.  Pray this way: ‘Lord, Thy will be done in me.’  Then only can God communicate His graces to you, according to your real needs that He knows better than you.  It can be healing, new strength, new joy, new peace – only open your hearts.”  (November 1991)

Oh God, our hearts are in deep obscurity, in spite of our link to Your heart.  
Our hearts are between You and satan;
do not permit it to be like that!
Every time our hearts are divided between good and evil,
let them be enlightened by Your light and let them be unified.  
Never permit for there to be able to exist in us two loves,
That there can never co-exist in us two faiths,
And that there can never co-exist in us:
lying and sincerity, love and hatred, honesty and dishonesty, humility and pride.
Help us, on the contrary so that our hearts may be elevated toward You
just like that of a child.  
May our hearts be rebuilt and captivated with peace and continue
to always have the longing for peace.  
May Your holy will and Your love dwell in us,
that at least sometimes we would really wish to be Your children
and when, Oh Lord, we will desire to be Your children,
remember our past desires and help us to receive You again.
We open our hearts to you so that Your holy love will remain in us.  
We open our souls to you,
so that they may be touched by Your holy mercy
which will help us to see clearly all our sins,
and will make us realize that which makes us impure is sin.
God, we want to be Your children, humble and devout,
To the point of becoming your cherished and sincere children,
such as only the Father would desire that we be.  
Help us, Jesus, our brother, to obtain the goodness of the Father in our regard,
and to be good to Him.  
Help us, Jesus, to understand well what God gives us,
although sometimes we fail to perform a good act,
as though it were for us an evil.  
Amen.
